Transgenderism is a mental illness. Some think they need to be affirmed so they do what they can to be seen as the opposite gender. Some will mutilate themselves then regret it. Others will go far into messing with their hormones, then detransition.
I think if someone detransitions, that's more functional. They won't have to pretend anymore, while the transexual remains frustrated with the fact they can only date homosexuals, and why ? Because transgenderism in most cases is really homosexuality to its core. Is that not dysfunctional ? Of course it is.
As far as military goes, critical thinking skills matter so I understand why they don't want transgenders.
I agree with this. Trans used to be a term that applied almost always to feminine gay men. They would always be seen as effeminate and 'gay' even as young kids. Over time, cross-dressers/transvestites have learnt that they can gain legitimacy, victimhood status, validation and a free pass by claiming they are trans.
The massive numbers of adult men over the last 20 years, often married with kids and a lifelong ID as straight, coming out as trans are suffering from autogynophilia. It's a fetish/mental illness that eroticises a straight man's fantasies of being a woman during sex. That and consumption of sissy porn warps a lot of minds when it comes to vulnerable straight men. These are the ones who will transition and claim they are lesbians. They progress in their illness to insisting on access to women only spaces like toilets and changing rooms, where some of them hang around hoping to predate on the women/children entering. They are sick perverts and women in those spaces can't even utter a word of protest from fear of criminal charges for transphobia and .... heaven forbid! .... misgendering the sicko. Some of them go on lesbian dating apps and try to bully the women into partnering up with them, claiming transphobia if they're not interested. They use the legal system as a weapon against women trying to keep predators out of their and children's spaces. It's a really fucked trend. Not to mention trans criminals ie: male predators/rapists being sent to women's prisons, where the women have to sleep in shifts to protect themselves from them.

Homophobia. Dating a transgender would be the same thing for a straight person.
These terms, Homophobia, or Transphobia, in my opinion are a type of reverse psychology to silence those who'd openly declare only dating the opposite gender. It makes people fearful of being labeled in a time when telling the truth will be troublesome.
On a side note, I don't particularly dislike transgender people. Just some, like every other type of person. Seeing what appears to be a female going on about guys passing them by, or not hugging or wanting anything to do with them. That's a man's life right there.
