it simply isn't true that victims of abuse are damaged freaks and psychological disasters. look at your son and daughter. they both have decent relationships with your sister, and have pretty much cut you off because you're toxic and dysfunctional. your daughter ran away to another city to escape from your constant guilt tripping. i think if you cut off your abuser you have a better prognosis, even if she's pretending to have cancer for attention and sympathy
