If you consider anything other than votes legalization certainly has much more logical support in this thread so far. Would be shocked to see that change even if legalization loses the vote.

I can’t choose either option because I believe it’s a more complicated issue than that. I think child rape is wrong, but I know some people don’t and I believe in freedom, so I think it should be up to the person doing it if it’s worth it and I think it should be the parent’s job to prevent their kid from being a target.

That’s your job as a parent, in my view. I don’t think we should leave it up to legislation just because people don’t know how to watch their kids and protect them from predators and I think predators may have been born that way or created, but either way, they should be granted the same freedoms as everyone else.

They should be able to take your child if you don’t care enough to protect it. That’s a parent problem, not a government problem. It should be discouraged though, so there should be a punishment if they like broke into a house to steal a kid, but if the door was unlocked, there should be no punishment. Protect what’s yours people. Protect what you care about.
