I was watching the Britney Griner/ Merchant of Death prisoner swap, and processing my usual daily flood of images from my "related vids" feed bc I've been following the war closely and often can't resist rubbernecking the clickbait. Such an adhd thing to do.

People get so riled up about football and sports- which has never made sense to me. Sports have no influence or consequences regarding anything outside of the Fandom. It's an emulation of violence with no deeper meaning and no benefit.

There are parts of the world where they'll publicly execute someone on the street while crowds gather to watch.

Turning murderers into gladiators would eventually turn them into superstars among masses that applaud the victor in a fight to the death.

Most of those people are so psychotic they can't control their impulses long enough to go to the store without getting arrested.

People who are smart and organized enough to build crime syndicates and cartels are more often drug dealers. The violence is secondary.

So they get arrested for stuff like tax evasion and by law issues. And drugs.

I've already said I'm less interested in watching drug dealers get whacked.

Watch any American true crime story (Donnie Brasco, Gotti, etc) and tell me if there's a single character that's as ridiculously unhinged as the Joker irl.
