I mean you can argue with me that it’s almost as bad for you as coffee

I'd argue it's worse than coffee when it comes to your overall health.

Also come to think of it, soda isn't good for me either. Even with ignoring the health concerns it has weird effects on my mental health.

, but really who gives a shit at that point. Also I’m not at risk of catching diabetes.

There's people who chainsmoke well into their 90s without health problems too, but that doesn't suddenly make cigs alright for everyone.

I also doubt you could quit the stuff if you found a reason to, that shit's wicked addictive.

I have seen no evidence anywhere that it’s any worse than coffee. I have literally never heard of anybody suffering from drinking soda in my entire life before today, ever.

Not even from the last time we talked about this IRL?

honestly don’t remember this at all, was that worrhless

You dropped the conversation pretty fast once examples started coming up. 🤣

I don’t even attribute weight gain and diabetes to soda drinking to be honest with you.

You can literally look at the ingredients in your soda, ignorance isn't really an excuse.

So I’m guessing you’re talking about this? Can’t really find any legitimate data that anything in there will really harm me otherwise.

I’m scared to date on the apps.

1. What if you meet and know within a few minutes (because you usually do) whether you like a person how do you make your exit. The thought of the difficulty in making the exit keeps me from meeting anyone. I mean do I have to sit through a whole dam date if the person is unattractive to me or Snoresville.

Have you literally never dated? Apps or otherwise? I generally stay until a polite moment, and then leave. It sometimes means a few hours wasted at the expense of someone else's feelings, but that's better than being an asshole.

2. I want the most attractive member of opposite sex I can find .
For those of you with experience with the apps is it like one and done

Unless you're equally attractive, good luck lol

a. In other words you VET them before you meet by going though a zillion photos on profiles and talk before you meet)

and that first person you date you end up having sex and pretty soon you are on your way to 2.5 kids. Kind of exaggerating but not. I know two people for whom The One was the first person they met.

The only people who find "The One" are those who are convinced that's what they're looking for. If you just want casual hookups, you'll get casual hookups. Expectation begets reality.

Furthermore I was promiscuous once upon a time. I’m often attracted to opposite sex based on physical attractiveness and thus for the “wrong” reasons. In other words, I don’t want to get “stuck” in a sexual relationship with someone who is not ideal for long term.

Everyone is attracted to others for physical reasons. That's the nature of biology. You seem to be hung up on the idea of finding a long term partner. That just happens. Casual is the first step, and it's not a step you can skip.

More like expectation interprets reality, many could end up with the same person and choose to take it one direction or the other once s/he's there, even over a dating app.

Even Sapiosexuals?
