This thread was made for tryp hoping he would see how I feel about him but instead he got mad at me LOL

i don't really understand stuff like this because we don't talk a lot, and when we do it's not the vibe of a prelude to a relationship. i'm not even thinking about relationships because i don't have the time to make one meaningful, or really even the inclination for a long while now.

that’s perfectly okay, I get that. No worries!

if posts like these are just meant to be cutesy then i kind of get it,

Yes it’s to be cutesy haha which I know is so not you but.

but then why occasionally attack cs claiming she "stole" me or whatever

I wasn’t attacking her it’s like, we just get into conversations and we both are super blunt people who aren’t afraid to say exactly what we are thinking so we have this thing me and her where we will say *exactly* what we are thinking like the cold hard truth and it’s absolutely brutal sometimes but then we carry on like it’s nothing.

So Like, she just says some brutal shit and then I say some brutal shit back. I guess you could call it sparring.

It’s kind of like meaningless though like it doesn’t have much levity to it, it’s just we are both highly emotional people so she has a lot of emotions pent up behind things and it all comes out at me, and I do too sometimes so, then those emotions surprisingly come out too.

But it’s just the way we are, and then when we are less emotional feeling we just talk about other bull shit.

It’s kind of like the way sisters fight though, I don’t think either of us take it that seriously.

Why not just accept you have feelings Blanc, rather than burying them and telling yourself it's all an act or game?

Speak for yourself. My emotions are under control. I don’t attack you even in a friendly way. That was long ago. Now I’m chill and just try my best to not call you annoying.

Maybe it's a Classism thing?

everything is some kind of 'ism' these days

Doesn't mean we should just disregard it, does it?

idc, do whatever you want. but I think most 'isms' are just performative - someone trying to silence someone else by playing a manufactured privilege/victim card to stop any challenging debate.

So you don't believe in -isms then? You'd rather people just forget the word 'racism' exists for example because it's just a performance to you?

 nice strawman

You could just say "No, what I meant was" followed by your actual meaning, but I guess this is a way to trick people into thinking you're smarter than you are.

And, you could've just asked what I meant instead of making a strawman - and btw, I'm not the one faking a psych degree lmao

Why even say 'isms' don't matter if you're going to then after say they do? What even is your point here?

I didn't say "'isms' don't matter.'" My point is that ‘isms’ often miss details, make assumptions about reality, and define the terms as they see them. Conversations are shut down because one side can just say the other doesn’t “get it” because their experience doesn’t measure up to another’s. That debate invalidates other perspectives.

Our current culture is obsessed with compartmentalizing people into definitive categories or labels. We are the hashtag generation; we compress the entirety of a nuanced issue into a simple set of words. When we throw around words like ‘sexism,’ ‘classism,’ or ‘racism’ too quickly we create oversimplified binaries that divide not unify and ultimately stop the progress many claim to want.

This whole rip in pants bullshit is just a mockery of the working class and those in poverty. Its fashion for people that haven't worked a labor intensive job or haven't lived through such poverty that hand me downs with rips were inevitable but we're mended as best as possible. It reminds me of the fake mud jeans marketed to rich people so they can pretend to be all quirky and cute and it is so shit.
