the medicine buddha
one day I left town to paint bridges. in the morning I went to the dining room and there I saw a demon created from thick black smoke with huge horns. I experienced horror. I thought that now he would kill me and drag my soul to hell. I closed my eyes, someone called me and the demon disappeared. it was just a hallucination, but I nearly shit myself with fear. :)
I have no clue where or what or how or when in this case do I fit, nowhere? everywhere? who knows at this time.
You're very self-indulgent, but not enough that I'd call it reverence in either direction.

Recently, in ways I think there's some truth to that, but aspects of it are hard to entirely say so, but obviously that must be biases in my favor? Right? I guess when I come here, its mostly my rambles and fixated on me, I hope I don't come off as narcissistic, I have no clue what is up with me. Things are so strange.

you're always looking for people to tell you who are you. dunno if that helps at all

I appreciate that you didn't just say "Intelligence", how much have you looked into it beyond the concept, like for it's history and stuff?

My relationship with it is mostly through studying the Greek philosophical tradition.
Mostly Parmenides, Anaxagoras, Plato, and Aristotle who all integrate it into their philosophies. Back when I was a CS undergrad my big hobby was studying the etymology of Nous and Phusis which led me to studying a good bit of Attic greek.
However, it also is a foundational concept in Neo-platonism which I am far less familiar with though that is seemingly changing given a side project in logic I am under taking. So perhaps my understanding will take on a more spiritual context. The closest thing to that are a few essays I wrote on Lucretius De Rerum Natura.
