Greed, Pride, and Lust as the more obvious ones, a few dalliances with Wrath and Envy, and a good deal of Sloth that you likely don't want to talk about.
Only one that's not immediately obvious is gluttony, but I bet if we were to continue chatting that I'd find some.
Greed according to your chart states that Greed is an excessive pursuit of material goods. I live pretty frugal for a millionaire TC. Right now I don't have a car or a brand new bike. I've been interested in getting a VR headset, but I'm in no rush, it's now been years. I can have anything I want delivered to me. I keep my mobile devices for 5 years even though I'm interested in new tech.
Greedy and swimming in relativism as the foundation of your excuses, you can't even see how it worms it's way into your speech.
"I don't have these specific nice things, so I must not be greedy." as you proceed to rattle on about wealth, status, and luxury to the point of corruption. You can be greedy without being envious you know, it can be defensive like how a business would respond, becoming more about holding onto what you have from a fear of losing it.
I'd recommend reading your quotes sometime as if someone else had said them.
Envy. What makes you think I have an issue with Envy?
We've discussed this one before, but you just go into doubt spirals each time if it's brought up without the right context.
I'm better off waiting for the right opportunity to get this point across rather than forcing the point.
Wrath. I've gotten into fights in highschool, and even now when people curse me I still deal with them in kind. Funny enough I find this sometimes makes it worse and they seek out some reason to vilify me.
Wrath doesn't have to mean coming to blows, verbal aggression and other anger-based acts can fall under the intent of this sin.
Of course you found a way to slip more Pride into this, if you really want to work on self improvement in the name of The Lord™️ you'll want to work on that first, considering it was enough for you to turn your back on many expressions of religion altogether as you sit alone thinking yourself High.
Sloth. I don't work as hard as I used to, but for a time I used to work 2 full time jobs and would sleep 1 or 2 hours a day. I went on like this for a long time trying to get out of the gutter. I also enjoy landscaping work. The year before my friend's Father said his feet are killing him, so I soaked his feet in warm saltwater, then I filed off his foot callouses where the pain was coming from, and he was good as new. I felt good about that. I have no problem helping someone move and if it's a friend I'll do it for free.
So because you didn't used to sin... you're exempt from sinning in the future? Because you worked hard to get where you are 'from the gutter' you've essentially saved up enough credit to misbehave for a while?
I don't think it works that way, or at least I've never known The Holy Trinity to give out 'Get out of Jail Free' cards.
When you go on about computer specs and your BitCoin capers... that falls into Greed and Pride pretty hard imo.
That's Envy TC. Read your 7 deadly sins chart.
But my path is one of finding ways to live with less, rather than selfishly grasping for more. Even your statement here reeks of ego and pride, to presume you'd only have 'haters' over your supposed achievements rather than your character.
I'm also free to sin as much as I please as a non-Christian, within the bounds of the Laws of Man at least.
Buttered Toast has a more powerful GPU in his system than mine. I'm running a GTX Titan X from 2015 while he's packing a 1080ti which can push more polygons with less memory. I have no reason to upgrade to a fantastic RTX card available on the market. What would be the purpose of that ?
Yes I built a super computer and mined Ethereum, and I can repurpose it for batch rendering or donate the hash power to Ai research. I don't see any of that as a sin, besides I don't use the rigs all that much. I can afford to build a threadripper based PC with a shit ton on RAM, and I like things like that. I don't have it though.
The rigs were used for good.
BTC ( new all time high btw ) Well I shared with the community how to get rich. That's all I did bro, and it's not up to you to say if that's a nice thing to do or not, thank God. Aside from that, I might not have wrote about cryptocurrency in the forum for maybe 18 months now. Last time I did that was because someone inquired about it. Long before your envious complaint I simply did not do it and I kept my ventures in a small group of interested members.
It's greed, and this flurry of words are your excuses.
"The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart." - Samuel 16:7
I'm fine with you using your man-made wealth to lavish yourself with the finer things, but if you look towards The Bible you're deviating from His light in many, many respects.
You might also think I'm prideful, but really I think you're foolish
Wow, what an arrogant and prideful thing to say.
Yes I said you'd think that. You're the one who regularly picks apart every sentence and moves a conversation backward. You also want to play devil and taunt people who are in a spiritual crisis and you're sympathetic toward Satan. You can say my thoughts about that is arrogant and prideful all you wish, but when asked, yes I'd say you're very foolish on many occasions.
Turquie literally thanked me for helping her get closer to The Bible, and now even she's correcting you on Scripture.
If we were to compare which one of us is closer to doing God's work... I'd venture to say it's not the one making porn.
Anyway, you said I sin on the regular. I say you bare false witness against me. Who do you think has a more clear perspective on the matter ?
The Bible, Jesus, and God. It's not up to us to judge one another like that within the constraints of the Christian faith, we have God for that.
Fancy seeing you resort to things you don't believe in for argument sake, while you're on the floor looking silly.
Again, if I am stuck arguing within the constraints of this faith, then that sets the rules for what is the canon. I don't have to believe in this stuff to argue it, I just have to understand the material.
You meanwhile are winging it even more than Turquie is now when it comes to intent. While she may be mistaken in many regards she's at least open minded enough to consider the words others throw at her enough to do more research and refine her perspective. You go on about how there is only one truth in a Christian style, yet you can't even follow The Bible correctly.
You're a Charlatan of the Christian Faith, and the one you've deceived the most over it appears to be yourself. If Hell is where we're headed then we'll be having quite the eternity together to laugh over conversations like this one.
You say I sin on the regular, and for you it's been a guessing game. I say you bare false witness, because truthfully, you are not a witness.
They aren't guesses though, it's me responding to your own statements. Cross-referencing your behavior against The Bible shows you to be quite the sinner, and for whatever reason your head's so far up in the clouds that it's ironically digging it's way into the dirt towards Hellfire and Damnation.
You've even left The Church so that you can be left to your own devices, free to sin unimpeded with excuse after excuse as to why your worldly behaviors will translate well in the hereafter.
