I've seen quite the opposite from The Bible personally. 

The expression "God helps those who help themselves" isn't even Biblical, it's Greek.

I just don't see any proof for it, Christianity seems to more so if anything embrace asking for help and accepting ourselves as meek. 

So you think when we overcome temptation without asking for help it would displease the Lord.

I didn't say that either, I think He'd be indifferent to it beyond the usual 'Love' he gives everyone.

Technically what Subject A did is more in line with God's will, while Subject B risks believing in his own abilities being why he resisted, rather than it being by the Grace of God. This is why you often see many Christians not allowing themselves credit for their own achievements, their doctrine demonizes it over a variety of channels.

Seriously, tons of passages about not leaning on your own understandings followed by 'natural order' messages where we need to accept our roles within these short boundaries. You and Turquie have in common the felt need to separate from traditional faith's doctrines so that it can be whatever you want it to be, an expression of Ego more likely than anything else. 

Sure there's passages about leaning on our own understanding. And from what I understand, I practice God's way. This is why I found a lot of bullshit in religion.

While religion on it's own has more often been appropriated and misused towards short term gains, it's still weirdly creative in a trippy historical sense, it opens the door for philosophical discussions that serve to have people question the nature of reality, and I personally enjoy it for it's room to clamp onto people's psychological needs. 

It's always where they feel the need to reinterpret things that you can find more of their personal identity. It gives a good relative placement to see how they've deviated from their intended paths and why, and through these discussions it becomes that much easier to see into someone's character based on their priorities. The modern day's had this become more about hobbies and cults, but it still serves a similar purpose overall. 

TLDR; It's a conversation starter that has many heads. As a tool I like it, but how it's used is often bad.

The Bible, Jesus, and God. It's not up to us to judge one another like that within the constraints of the Christian faith, we have God for that. 

We meanwhile have The Bible as a reference, and within those passages you're committing to tons of sin and likely don't aim to fix it at all.

Greed according to your chart states that Greed is an excessive pursuit of material goods. I live pretty frugal for a millionaire TC. Right now I don't have a car or a brand new bike. I've been interested in getting a VR headset, but I'm in no rush, it's now been years. I can have anything I want delivered to me. I keep my mobile devices for 5 years even though I'm interested in new tech.

Envy. What makes you think I have an issue with Envy ?

Wrath. I've gotten into fights in highschool, and even now when people curse me I still deal with them in kind. Funny enough I find this sometimes makes it worse and they seek out some reason to vilify me.

Gluttony. I eat twice I day. I'm also turning 44 this year so naturally I'll put on weight like anyone else.

Sloth. I don't work as hard as I used to, but for a time I used to work 2 full time jobs and would sleep 1 or 2 hours a day. I went on like this for a long time trying to get out of the gutter. I also enjoy landscaping work. The year before my friend's Father said his feet are killing him, so I soaked his feet in warm saltwater, then I filed off his foot callouses where the pain was coming from, and he was good as new. I felt good about that. I have no problem helping someone move and if it's a friend I'll do it for free.

Well TC. I've spent more on others than I have myself in the past 2 years. I kid you not. A lot of my people are in poverty and have become jobless from the pandemic. I'm talking bills and even some car payments. I don't ask for anything in return cause it isn't required for me to.

Buttered Toast has a more powerful GPU in his system than mine. I'm running a GTX Titan X from 2015 while he's packing a 1080ti which can push more polygons with less memory. I have no reason to upgrade to a fantastic RTX card available on the market. What would be the purpose of that ?

Yes I built a super computer and mined Ethereum, and I can repurpose it for batch rendering or donate the hash power to Ai research. I don't see any of that as a sin, besides I don't use the rigs all that much. I can afford to build a threadripper based PC with a shit ton on RAM, and I like things like that. I don't have it though. 

The rigs were used for good.

BTC ( new all time high btw ) Well I shared with the community how to get rich. That's all I did bro, and it's not up to you to say if that's a nice thing to do or not, thank God. Aside from that, I might not have wrote about cryptocurrency in the forum for maybe 18 months now. Last time I did that was because someone inquired about it. Long before your envious complaint I simply did not do it and I kept my ventures in a small group of interested members.
