I know that I'm not going to cheat, I just know that I won't, the holy spirit is strengthening me more and more

I just panic when God throws at me trials that I've never tried to fight before, because of my own insecurities and low self-esteem, but I have to remember that it is Jesus's holy spirit living inside of me that is strengthening me and fighting for me, not my own wisdom or willpower or strength

I've seen quite the opposite from The Bible personally. 

The expression "God helps those who help themselves" isn't even Biblical, it's Greek.
