BDSM is a part of sex, sex is an art on its own, BDSM is a form of sex and a part of it.

BDSM is a subversion of sex that spans in many directions. To be a master of sex is not the same as being a master of the specificities within BDSM. A master of BDSM would be a master of sex, but a master of sex is likely not going to be a master of BDSM. 

BDSM is about how they need specific things to enjoy themselves, you can't please them as a generalist. 

Claiming that I have knowledge over sex but not BDSM, doesn't negate that I might be superior to you in causing pleasure, just that you're better at one of these ways.

I can allow pleasure specifically within the range I'm specialized in.
