How would you best summarize what I believe?

Good luck with that one, from not usually being able to understand or relate towards who he's talking to he'll resist answering such questions directly.

You'd have better luck having someone else ask him what you believe, imo.

How would you best summarize what I believe? I don't have much problem with most of what you say, and I am aware of most of those arguments you listed.

You believe in equality for women, I do too, but the thing is, the very rights a modern day feminist is fighting for has already been in place for some time. It's here right now, today.

Modern day feminism is a compilation of falsehoods and some invented issues regarding men's habits ( Yes all men ). This is why it's very unpopular and a lot of those feminist social experiments you see on youtube have their comments shut off.

Other feminists don't care about you. They want to see more women taking up positions of power. You probably don't care much if they fail or succeed either. They are strangers after all.

I think that is a fair summary of what I believe in, thank you. Although, I'd say I believe in gender equality, not just equality for women.

Those are all fair points; there are some things floating around on the Internet about feminist claims that I disagree with.

However, could we agree on at least one thing:

People, in general, tend to hire those that are more similar than dissimilar to themselves

...while recognizing, as a caveat, that there are other factors that play a role in the hiring process, general likability, and so on?

Sometimes that's the case. When I was in construction, one company I worked for hired all West Indians.

Another company I worked was more diverse, people still working there after a 15 years. Not 100% sure how it is over there now, but when I worked there, there wasn't any coloured people in high positions there, not that I really care. I did experience racism there too, and last I heard one of the racists got written up for racism, but that's all for sure cause he goes fishing with the big boss and do pinky swears and stuff.

There was a time my workload was more than I can handle, so the company hired one of those, what are they called, when they have people looking for jobs but the company that middle mans the laborers takes a cut ? Well it was one of those and the guy they sent me couldn't even begin to do simple tasks, like crimp a wire.

I took my time showing him how to do it, but he would just say "I know" then get upset at me when I try to show him yet again. An hour went by and he made literally 0 progress, so within the next hour his carpool came to get him.

His race and gender had nothing to do with his incompetence and I would have been more patient but I needed a worker for 1 day and he had to go.

Jews hire Jews, Blacks hire black, Asians hire Asians. There was this one Vietnamese restaurant I've been to a few times and they have white people on staff, and the owner is some white lady with a Romanian accent.

In general maybe, but not always.

Certainly not always. I think I more or less agree with you. And I think you make a good point, that we should hire people based on competence.

Since you recognize there's a potential local-scale problem, what would you advocate as the solution?

The only solution I can think of comes within ourselves.

Being disliked is a part of life, trying to combat things like racism, sexism or basically anything that's been around longer than everyone on the planet, I think is a waste of time, especially in the western world

If these things take up too much of our time, we'll be miserable.

So I reckon that you think some of the ideas advocated by the feminism, I suppose, are not going to fix the problem?

However,  it seems like there's no better alternative, for the moment?

The only solution I can think of comes within ourselves.

How does this fix larger sociological issues..?

A lot of the problem isn't about ourselves, but rather larger bodies of people. The only solution that could bring us to is ignoring people for our own peace of mind, a position people of privilege have an easier time handling. It's also how you perpetuate the current status quo, change won't come from indifference.

So you'd say we ought to just give up and accept intolerance, rather than be intolerant towards the intolerant?

Why not seek out ways to change how things work? It's how we escaped slavery, and it's how we're going to escape women being seen as second class citizens.

His idea of Feminism is an exaggeration. He like many others would likely need it re-labeled to Equalism or something if it's to make any traction similarly to how "Defund the Police" scared people off.

TLDR; You're using a personal anecdote to judge the entire world, like a classic Sagittarian. 👌
