While men could be getting less attractive if women are compromising on looks, by going for intelligence and other personality traits as the determining factor, while the physical appearance deemed less critical is what is passing down and dominating the gene pool. 

 The men that can pick who they date are 10's, but they don't intend to settle down.

As for intelligence. lol. Guys in general think they are smarter than women, and we don't exactly look forward to being the sidekick. However if she is dumb to the point her actions irritate the man he'll detach. Unless he's desperate for a relationship.

I think our species populating is going to slow down, while men are being emasculated and women gradually resent their traditional and natural roles in a healthy loving family setting.

From what I've gathered, women are happier when they are submissive, hence them being submissive in a functioning relationship.

 Technological advances and movements through social media has made women more self absorbed. Then they long for the glory of overtaking men not only in the workspace, but also in God given power.

For the modern woman, the agenda in the grand scheme of them is more about Career> Politics> but not so much Family.

These days Women who want families, plan to start one later on in life when they are less fertile and at the edge of the clock, and then life seems more miserable. If she scored someone more wealthy than she is, and if he's as you might say "secondary role" she will at some point file for divorce, take half of his net worth and slap him with child support, and most of that money by a landslide doesn't go to the child, it goes into her Jenny Craig programs and shopping and other cosmetic ventures so she can bang some other guy.

But yeah, traditional family settings produce healthier minds and lifestyles, you did know that right ?
