How do they even tell something like that if the child can't actively communicate it, or even understand what's been going on in a relative sense? 

 It's why mandated reporter is easier because it means you're fit to report signs of abuse, you don't have to have all the facts but you can make a claim and they have to by law investigate it even if it's just a randoms check up. It turns into a file and if there's evidence of anything opens it up for more investigation. 

When you make a report as a random citizen it's more like "oh yeah uhuh sure but are you really sure??" and they'll more likely try to talk you out of making the report unless you have proof, photos of it being the best type of proof.

   I just wish you could leave more things alone when you get triggered sometimes. It doesn't have to be about me for me to like, empathize, especially when it has the room to call upon my own experiences as a comparative model. 

   If it's about children especially, i don't plan to leave it alone. I don't think I could if I tried, honestly. 

   It's about whatever you can get your hands on to enable acting on the pettier desire. 

   Nah, you have this thing where you don't believe things are uh, morally wrong or right? Is that moral nihilism? But most people would take action when it come to children being hurt or abused in whatever way. 

   I'd argue that I do have a moral compass, but I don't (typically) use it as an excuse to act out.

   It's not my responsibility to impede on other's lives, and intruding like that tends to both put more on my own shoulders while otherwise not really fixing anything once the narrative reaches it's conclusion. The person has to be worth becoming a part of my sphere of influence, there needs to be something for me to gain from it, otherwise why get involved?

This discussion of it's about your motivation. Sure you can sit there and claim that you only go after 'the bad guys', but why you do is what's being scrutinized. 

I'm otherwise just trying to discuss it, like I have with others over their things that grind my gears. 

I say that because we literally had this conversation about this individual before, i explained exactly what and why but you're still pushing this thing where I called cps because he called me names.

You're surrounded by deviancy on the internet, but you aren't just firing in all directions over it. For the time being I'm under the impression that the idea of them 'having it coming' is secondary in relation towards your having a beef with them, that it's more of an enabling means of how to handle it rather than the primary motivation. 

The waters get muddy once they haven't really done anything criminal, and the parallels between them are enough to form theories over broader patterns, rather than how you handle law breakers solely. 

Okay, well then I'm wasting my time trying to explain anything about it to as you'll keep your view of it unchanged regardless of the truth and will continue to push i did it because he called me names

I'm capable of changing my mind, and you know as well as I do that 'truth' is an individual thing.

You don't have to fight over it, but if you want the misconception to be fixed it's not some impossibility, it's just somewhat defensively uphill. Once it's done it'll be done, too, rather than some rift from not bridging the two areas at least far enough to see where these other ideas are coming from.
