Why does it have to be this simplified view of two sides duking it out instead of a complex pond full of ripples from many diverse interests? It's a pushed narrative but they still deserve fault for allowing themselves to be these tools and not questioning whether their treatment of the otherside is fair. They are more concerned with ideology stomping their rivals and sore winning to wonder if maybe they're going overboard.
