Above is an example of the sort of techniques that The Right tries to use to imply a hypocrisy of modern censorship. They aim to paint a picture of how their own side cannot communicate Traditional values while what they view as Post-Modern Degeneracy (literally calling it 'Clown World') is left on display undisturbed to influence "the next generation". 

I personally split the difference over a matter of technicality: The Right if they got their way would tell The Left to stop their 'Degeneracy', while The Left largely wants to distance from those who'd try to tell them what to do. While both sides have in recent history demonstrated aims to use The Censor to only allow their own message to persist, The Left at least offers choices where The Right simply doesn't.

no doubt there is intolerance on both sides. and there will always be disagreements between people. and this is fine. the sickness is when free speech is cancelled or violence is raged against people to stop their views from being heard. or even get cancelled for just wearing a hat.

The Left/Right doesn't tolerate others telling them what they can and can't do, while The Right/Left doesn't tolerate people being 'unpunished'. 

It's just progressive vs traditional.
