Sc is pretty boring.
Evening update, blood work is showing that Alice's new liver is already starting to work, it's slow at first but will catch up to normal speed. The surgeon said her new liver is a "good looking liver." They are starting to ween her off the sedatives, they'll ween her down over the next 2 days then plan to remove the ventilator on Sunday. She wont be awake until after that. The time she spends in the hospital will depend on how her body heals but they are expecting between 3-6 weeks.
She is in the post-op ICU, it is a big room with 17 other patients and a nurse attendant monitoring her 24/7. They said at this time she is probably healthier than she was when she went to the ER 2 weeks ago. All that's left is for her body to heal from surgery and for her new liver to regulate her body back to normal.

I'm glad the waiting is mostly over, how are you feeling peach?
Better than I was a few days ago. My dad and sister are coming to see me tomorrow. Im really happy Alice is okay, and I'm keeping myself busy cleaning the house for their visit Tomorrow. Waiting for her to wake up will be hard, but not as agonizing as not knowing when she would get a new liver. Things are all uphill from here.
Low key, I'm afraid we are going to loose the apartment though because I cant afford the place on my own. Im a little anxious about all the unknowns that are up in the air, but mostly I am thrilled that Alice is okay and her health is getting better.

cant someone loan you some money in the meantime? she will wake up, so dont you just need to pay the rent for now with anything?
