I'm talking about Adam Smith style mercenary capitalism.

Americans are guilty of it far more often than we are.

Pay per use healthcare... smh...

You should think more and speak less.

lol I'm typing, not speaking  :P

And you should quit tryinta lord your wee self over people you've never met. If you want to argue, then argue. But don't presume to tell me what I should and should not do.

Just ask my sister. Tryinta tell me what to do usually accomplishes the exact opposite of what the teller says they want  :D

You'd rather spout ignorance out of spite.

 WTF? lol

I have travelled through the US. Like for months on end. By thumb.

I've also taken Sociology, Sociocultural Anthropology, and American Studies classes, thx.

Those are the 3 big differences on average.

Guns, god and mercenary capitalism. Or a lack thereof.

If you disagree with a Canadian, he shows you his diplomas and then runs for Wiki to prove his points.

If you disagree with an American, he tells you about his gun collection and then tells you how his god will damn you to hell lol

So... I guess the US has no Leftist demographic then..?

When did you study this shit, during Nixon's era?

None of the Canadians on this website do this, I don't know where you're getting this idea.

If you disagree with an American, he tells you about his gun collection and then tells you how his god will damn you to hell lol

I've personally never met an American who did that, even among those who are religious/have guns.

I'm sure you can tell that I disagree with a lot of people, so this has been more than tested.

I didn't say there was no leftist demographic. I'm just quoting a statistical average.

Xena: > The average height of an American male is  5'7"

Turncoat: > but... but... I'm 5'11"

And yeah. I've met plenty who threatened to shoot me right after they quoted some pulpit blasting Sam Jackson biblical shit.

I was in the deep south, tho.

That shit was fucking surreal. Like totally Sookie Stackhouse southern gothic  0_o

About half, give or take 5-10% depending on what's popular in a given year.

And ofc they're the loudest, most outspoken half. So it always seems like there's way more of them  xP

I feel like the US's "The Left" seems louder within out country, while the US's "The Right" seems louder to other countries.

From what little I've traveled to other countries, it seemed like the TVs in the rooms had Fox News as it's only US news outlet. I wonder how much affect that has on how this country's perceived, versus how we see ourselves from within it.

Faux News is a relatively recent import where I am.

Most of us older Canadians have had all 3 big American networks all our lives bc most of our population lives within 200 miles or so from the US border. Then Fox (I mean the Fox that aired Married With Children) after about 1987. OnTV and HBO came around that time, as well. I think OnTV folded. All those fancy channel bundles like AMC and ESPN came after satellite tv in the late 90s. Fox News and the fist pumping right came in what seemed like a direct response to 9/11. That was when the right starting getting louder, more dishonest, and more misogynistic than I remember them ever being.

I can't speak for people in other countries, but it looks (from reading various comments sections all over) like the general consensus among non Americans is that they like Americans and find them generous, outgoing and friendly. They just don't like that orange faced shit gibbon that seems to think he can lead them.
