12 FAILS....and still the one of the richest....damn....I would LOVE to Fail like that....lol
It's been shown that if Trump had simply invested his massive inheritance in low return bonds he would have more money today than he has from his ventures. His biggest success has been convincing people he's a brilliant biz man rather than just another spoiled trust fun kid.
When Fred Trump passed away, his net worth was 300 million, compared to his Son Donald who was already bigger and believed to have a 1.4 billion net worth.
Before Fred Trump died in 1999 ( 17 years to date ), Donald was already bigger than his own Father, so that 1.4 turned into a 1.6. Sure his Father gave him loans, and what Donald did with that obviously blew his Father away, since the Prince ended up bigger than the King himself. It's fair to say Donald Turned a little into a lot.
On the Forbes list ( who doesn't count everyone ) Donald Trump is listed as the 324th richest in the world. That's really good considering we're about 7 billion in population today, and Fred Trump wasn't big enough to make the billionaire list.

Haha yeah I laughed so hard when I read about that the first time.
Sure you laughed so hard when they guessed that Trump outperformed the S&P 500 by $400,000,000
Why, for 400 million less, Trump could have lived like everyone else until it was time to pull. Oh so funny.

Ha ha ha That's opposite from what I've said.
What have you said? I don't quite understand your post to be honest.
My reply was more of a general remark on the topic. Trump didn't beat the market so his net worth in and of itself can't be used to tell whether he's a great businessman or not.
