...so it's more about how you handled it, not what you did?
You lost me. I have been talking about the whole incident all this time.
I'm not "good", but at least I know that and don't try to make it out like I am. You... kinda do.
So wait. If you are guilty of a behavior but admit to it, it's somehow better? Why are you putting down the meaning of an apology then? Simply admitting you are flawed is a shitty cop-out. You just say: hey that's me I admit it, and think it's such a big accomplishment and that it makes you a better person.
I am aware of my flaws. I don't have any more double-standards more than the average guy here. I am very consistent. What a bunch of you hate on me for is that I often speak my mind against your acts. Instead of admitting to it, the reaction is to say: "you're the same Ed!". This, often when the similarities are extremely thin and far fetched, and even after I apologized for it as it was in this case.
I don't know about you, but if I see someone repeatedly doing the same behavior even after apologizing for it... I'm not likely to take said apology very seriously.
That's just you.
You sometimes show ideatic slipping similar to MrOmega.
He's truly next tier. While I did make that comparison myself a while ago, I don't think I'll ever be on his level.
Yes you are far from that. Maybe you understand then how I feel when you are drawing parallels between my behavior and others here.
I'm mostly drawing parallels between your current self and past self. At most for comparison I'm saying that it's crazy to think that "Sorry" is some sort of magical cure-all when the behaviors keep happening, and that it's weird that you'd hold yourself as if you're better than them for saying it before acting on it again in the future.
My isolated incident with Alena is not enough for you to generalize. Can you even see why this treatment feels an unfair excuse to have a go at me? Are you able to put yourself in my place, and the crap I am given here for that incident, or are you too caught into your circular arguments? Minor incident I admit was wrong and apologized for vs repeated abusive behavior involving Alena's and just about anyone's past here, and I get so much attention for it? Spare me the "double standard".
It's not just incidents, it's a legitimate pattern.
...seriously? Why do you think others are on the same train, some sort of mass propaganda conspiracy?
Yes, running your mouth without enough concrete examples casts that light on you.
You're saying that to reduce their individual messages, you're saying it to make them less loud. They aren't like "We have no voice, so we must become one voice to be heard", you're like "They're saying the same things at me, so they must be working together".
They are working together, ofc. It is a good defense here, to have a pack. You can spread any shitty message you want and people will take it for granted if you get 5 more people to do it with you.
