People down there are not like us Canucks. She's not used to nice people :P
I know Canada tends to be pretty friendly and feel a lot more safe. I see a lot of sweet apples. It does have it's share of bad apples.
Agree....have seen some extremely strange shite....of the Canuckistan variety online...disproportionately so....whatever...just the way it is.
IRL? I have far better luck....people are really decent...and even overseas as a furriner...also, being totally not shy about trying to speak their language while garbling it horribly...lol...they have been amazingly kind. At the same time...in business they will screw if if they can...so....lol....expect it, work around it...all is as it needs to be...
Re; hospital, the surgeon and the interns have gone completely out of their way and beyond the call of duty for me....just amazing. When I was in ER, the orthopaedic intern came down from surgery to talk with me...totally not called for..lol...and the other intern that had been attending stayed after his 12 hour shift to shoot the bull...turns out he started his MD training in Poland...neat guy...
Mine is a type 3....so it's kind of really fked up...and this thing is going in:
...hmmm..wonder if I can get the Doc to do a little 5 gram scraping of bone marrow...lol...we can put that to use....shit..that would be awesome! ..LOL
