Hate fills my ego. So its very good.
1. I think all emotions are the result of thoughts. It highlights thoughts already spinning around in your head. I named a few situations from the top of my head that help explain my point.
ANGER
You are cheated in a game. You get angry because you know what you deserve. It persuades you to seek justice.
Scientifically... It has you protecting your owned resources.
HAPPINESS
You do something that makes you happy. It varies for each person. It could be learning new material, exploring, sex, hanging out with friends, eating food, anything. Your brain knows this if good for you on some level. It could help you with survival skills, career skills (modern day hunting?), procreating, building relationships, feeding your brain, or anything.
Scientifically... It rewards you and persuades you to seek out this activity in the foreseen future.
SADNESS
You miss a family or friend or partner. You get sad. It encourages you to seek out this person (if they are alive?). It drives you to spend time with someone and reinforce bonds. It is good to have relationships bonds because humans are pretty pathetic alone. I mean human beings are not that strong, fast, agile or ferocious. It seems all we got going is our intelligence and some human beings do not even have that much intelligence. How do you fight? How do you hunt? How do you defend? You go with a friend! In the case of a partner it has more to do with reproduction and only some to do with gaining a hunting buddy.
Scientifically... It stabs you in the heart yelling at you to find your hunting or procreating companion.
2. Is hatred bad?? YES & NO!
No...
If someone cheats you out of your money in a bet over and over you might hate them. It is an anger that is trying to push you to retrieve that which is just or at least that you feel should belong to you. It is against the law to act on this anger in a physical confrontation (murder/handicap/torture/kidnap/vandalise).
If someone does something to you unjust there are more legal ways of perusing justice. Following lawsuits, pressing charges and communication.
Yes...
If you have thoughts that persuade you to grow in hatred for a bad reason. I'm talking about racism, religious wars, if they think they are doing a supreme being or ultimate "good", if they are handicapped, if you want to feel macho, if you hate their sexuality, if you hate their lifestyle (that does no harm), if someone disagrees with you...
3. Hatred is a harsh word.
I would not consider anger hatred unless it lasts at least a year or more. I think hatred is a word more for someone you think you could never forgive unless something extreme happens. I mean they save your life, they buy you a car and apologize, you find out the only reason they were mean is because they had a crush on you.
Yes true hatred is not good or bad.
Emotions
I find it is just a highlight of already existing thoughts. I guess what I mean is that is has more to do with the thought process of the individuals. In other words sensations are not random landmines in a field. It is more about thoughts getting run over with a highlighter encouraging instinctual behaviors.
It can sometimes spin out of hand a tad. It can be amplified or run over a highlighter over and over in certain cases. I mean when people are on meds, teenager raging hormones, three consecutive sleepless nights, women pmsing, pregnancy, male sympathy pregnancy (I heard it is a thing), semi traumatic events.
Emotions
If the information being highlighted is wrong then the highlighter is reinforcing bad ideas. It could be like when someone thinks someone cheated them in poker when they were not cheated. It turns the person to anger. I would say that if the information is corrected then the highlighter will in theory run over the new information.
At times hatred has been a useful motivator for me to cut useless people out of my life. It’s difficult for me to hate anything for long though as I don’t tend to care that strongly.
I think generally that hatred is a psychological defense that allows people to escape upsetting, shameful, or anxiety-filled feelings they don’t have the emotional resources—or ego strength—to cope with.
It’s generally believed that hatred is not a primary emotion. Underlying it are core feelings such as feeling rejected, devalued, powerless and unlovable. And because of the adrenaline rush hatred can provide, it’s easy for people to become addicted to it.People who routinely use hate/anger to cover-up their vulnerable feelings, generally become so adept and addicted to it that they have no awareness of the insecurity driving their rage. TBH, It's fun to watch.:D
"Hate masks personal insecurities. Not all insecure people are haters, but all haters are insecure people. Hate elevates the hater above the hated. Haters cannot stop hating without exposing their personal insecurities. Haters can only stop hating when they face their insecurities.
Stage 1: The Haters Gather
Haters rarely hate alone. They feel compelled, almost driven, to entreat others to hate as they do. Peer validation bolsters a sense of self-worth and, at the same time, prevents introspection, which reveals personal insecurities. Individuals who are otherwise ineffective become empowered when they join groups, which also provide anonymity and diminished accountability."

Literally every other post on here is actually contributing to intellectual discussion. You are rambling like a insane person.
"Emotions I find it is just a highlight of already existing thoughts"
Every one knows what emotion is. This is the most pointless definition. What does this mean? Honestly Emotions are a highlight of already existing thoughts? Are you saying emotions are something that happens because of thoughts?
"In other words sensations are not random landmines in a field. It is more about thoughts getting run over with a highlighter encouraging instinctual behaviors."
Ok. Look I will explain something incredibly basic to you. Why do we do things? because if we didn't we would die. people who dont do things are not around because they are dead. Also to reproduce. Emotions are are motivation to do things. Do you actually believe emotions come from thoughts? Are you insane or maybe off medication. Your new name is off her meds. Thoughts come from emotions. We think to solve problems that we are motivated to solve because of emotion. Thoughts come from emotion!
"I think generally that hatred is a psychological defense that allows people to escape upsetting, shameful, or anxiety-filled feelings they don’t have the emotional resources—or ego strength—to cope with."
Generalizations are bad in general.(In case you are slow that is a joke.- im looking at you misbehaved and/or xena.) What you are describing is one situation that causes anger. Do you get angry to cover up your insecurities? Are you a angry person? I think you are projecting a very local and specific cause of anger over the entire thing. Ever seen a dog get mad because another dog stole its bone? Is the dog trying to escape a shameful event?(lol dogs might get angry to escape one though they are pretty smart just not in this case). Anger is a defense it has much more to it that your vast over simplification. If I had a serious anger issue that was cause by one thing I might misunderstand it. See anger is actually a deference mechanism for any social situation where your denseness real or mental are attacked. It is also called up when you are powerless or greatly outnumber. Think about a man who's kid is getting raped. Can you imagine him not angry? I mean unless he was really disturbed.

Fuck you have some serious issues. But besides that physical pain not emotional is the most common cause of pain. Again you are saying generally. No I dont think any rational person believes that hate is not a primary emotion. Hate is the most common emotion on any list of primary emotions made by intelligent physiologist unless you think you are smarter and know more about human physiology than they do. here is a list of the widely considered greatest minds lists of common emotion.
Rage or anger appear on all but two how weird they must have gotten it all wrong Each list is in order of most common emotion and it seems Anger appears first more than any. Even one google search or attempt to think and use logic would have made you not look so dumb. Incredible. Well better luck next time. :D
