aint that kinda excessively pessimistic? every time somethin like this happens, people seem to think it's heralding the end of the world as we know it. And it never is. Cold war, 9/11, etc etc. Shit just aint that fragile. Life goes on as (more or less) normal for 99% of the population. 

Like, more often then not these sorts of things actually cause change for the better. Maybe we'll get better trained, reformed law enforcement and an actual conversation about modern race issues. there's usually a silver lining
