Its very interesting how all the lies are from the politicians that want people to remain in the Brexit and there are so many times the EU has created secret plans that will change the entire union, but wont share them, because it wont be viewed well. Just like a democratic system would, not.

Meta, you might feel that the little EU countries get pushed around (despite getting a lot of money from it), but the UK was a big decider in EU matters. They had enough independence, had their own coin, had plenty of concessions made for them. You keep complaining about the muslim migrants, but the UK didn't accept many forced by the EU. The migrants the UK voted against were the ones "stealing jobs" or begging from countries such as yours. I am sure you might know people or even have distant relatives working in the UK. Overall, those people pay more in taxes to the UK than what they get from welfare.

About the "democracy" card - there can't be a true democracy since it's impossible for all the people to be informed and understand objectively what they are deciding when it comes to complex issues. It takes years of economical and political training to get insights to understand the complex mess in the world today. People will vote based on the info given to them by the politicians, and in this case the more emotional information prevailed. "Taking back your country" sounds better than excel tables on the economy, even if it's full of hot air and lacking clear directions of what the fuck happens next.

I've been to Bulgaria so you of all people should understand the difference between your cities with educated folk, and the large regions with poor, drunkard, uneducated villagers. They live their lives extremely narrow-minded with their chickens and sheep and they are the majority in your country. (Not saying in the UK they are on the same level as those in your country, but I saw stats showing that most people who voted for the Brexit didn't even own a passport).  How would you feel if those people took the steering wheel of your country, Meta? And you'd just have to live with their choice?

So let me ask you something, if DIRECT democracy is such a great thing to base important decisions on, why not make referendums asking: "Do you want to pay your taxes?" "Do you want to increase all salaries by 300%?" "Do you want mandatory recruitment of citizens during war crisis?" "Do you want the Church to have a say in political aspects?" Some questions should just not be asked, imo.

Thats totally irrelevant, unless you do not want democracy lol. People want one thing, but the EU wants the opposite, so the government of the nation does what the EU wants instead of what the people want. Whether thats good or not is irrelevant. Its not democratic. And if you do not want democracy, why are you letting a third party decide your life?! Thats insane. Even a fucking north korean dictator will have more interest in keeping your country better then a 3rd party will.

This is a separate topic related to democracy and how flawed it is. But i'd much rather have them steer my country then some foreigners.

I do not like democracy. But these are the values of the current western countries. And i argue from a point of view even you would understand.

However "Do you want an independent party, who lacks all kind of responsibility and can overrule your nations decisions, to rule you?" is a good question, for any kind of system.

I do like to steal the EU's money. And while we do not join the Eurozone i feel like we could keep doing it. But i think they wont let us for too long. The EU sucks and we should suck its money while we can. But when they eventually pressure us, i hope we do not get any more invested in it.

If the EU doesn't change, it will die, one way or another.

You are not clear. Are you happy with the deal you have right now between Bulgaria and the EU or do you want a Bulgarexit?

I want to leave, because i don't trust my politicians wont accept more policies of EU. But if they just pretend to be dumb or play them around for as long as they can, then i gladly approve of the money we get from the EU. They have been doing that with both EU and Russia, but when pressured sometimes they give in.

Source is simple math. 52% of 72% of the UK population is about 37% who voted for Brexit. Renders statements like "the Brits have told the immigrants and the EU to fuck off " less meanigful.
