You say "killing democracy" as if you consider this a bad thing, but support Trump who has all the makings of a dictator. He's dominated by power hunger, stops at nothing to have his way, is inflexible, knows nothing about compromise and diplomacy, supports extreme views, can work the masses.

Islam has moved its ass in Malaysia, for example, through political policies that endorse legal discrimination based on religion. If you convert, you have all these economical and social advantages,so people convert or are drawn to that country (most without genuine belief in the faith). The more people convert, the stronger the "islamic" party becomes, and so on. In the end, it's still a political game. It can only catch on certain backgrounds, and it's completely unrealistic to imagine this happening in the EU or the US.
We have talked here before of how some people fear the US government will turn against them, so they have to "horde guns and ammunition". I see the exact expression when it comes to the "Islamic threat". Some people have brains more "jumpy" and fearful about this stuff, that's all.
About an year and a half ago i would agree.
But its clear that the government of certain countries would do anything to preserve their agenda and a lot of people are either ignorant, stupid or part of the agenda to the point of being emotionally involved.
I have seen a lot of conservatives/right wing talk about slippery slopes years before and i dismissed it and thought its funny. But it happened just last year lol.
I overestimate people's intelligence all the time.
The US government has been against its people for a long time. However a large sum of guns is useless against the government lol, especially since they are a covert enemy, not an overt enemy.
