If it tickles, it's good regardless of a specific type of "prey" (for lack of a better, less dramatic sounding word). If the one being messed with happens to fit ASPD criteria, why should that get in the way?
Of course if you don't need to be the one doing it personally, there's plenty of human failure online that's captured spectacularly. There's less liability that way too since they tend to film themselves.
"And those encompass a wide spectrum of individuals? Are you going by comorbidities, Theodore Millon's Subtypes (Nomadic, Malevolent, Covetous, Risk-Taking, Reputation-Defending, Unprincipled, Tyrannical), or your own thing? Is it that the bar's set lower for you for what constitutes expressions of the symptoms?"
You'll never know if anyone you're going against is actually a sociopath, my methods are what I've used in the past against what I'd consider sociopathic individuals. The criteria for that would just be people who fit a couple of the signature traits to a moderate/severe degree. Of course, there's always those types that make there symptoms less evident.
"I prefer to let them feel comfortable so that they'll be more likely to continue slipping up. That allows a case to be built that can be used at the right time."
Yeah, i was hoping that was implied by the whole "Watching, noting, observing and validating these slips" bit.
"Letting them think the excuses worked has them set the bar lower too. They'll be more likely to make mistakes if they figure that you're gullible enough to follow it or apathetic enough about it to continuously let things slide."
Very true. I've never had any reason to take anything that far, but I imagine that'd be the route I'd take. Generally, confronting them once they've made a couple slips was enough.
Look, guys... I think that we are ignoring a real problem here. I mean, this chick's make-up... And those eyebrows! Sweet baby Jesus! I don't even want to think about what her nails look like... Probably gross and unmanicured if she's not even washing her hair. She is desperate need of a make over!
I think that we could get the SC ladies together and help this lady out. Should we start a GoFundMe? I totally volunteer to take her shopping.
"Playing with another persons weaknesses will not revoke your own. No need to bring your ego to the table when you are perusing a victim. Leaves room for human error. "
Depends on what approach you take. Ego often brings a sort of spicy sincerity that can make for particularly intimidating and enticing insults. Adding salt to already open wounds can work in your favor if you anticipate the right reaction.
