Both you and Turn suspected ulterior motives for Haart to write a kind goodbye thread ("Never trust anyone who flatters everyone."). You can't talk of ulterior motive, if you think haart was genuine in her leaving this site.

Not quite the "why", actually. I can see why you'd assume that her reaction is "disproportionate", but that's more about you.
As to whether or not it's disproportionate, I figure that there's a chance that it'll surface more or less as this topic goes on, especially if Haart returns to this topic to reply some more. The two knew each other from another forum, and the "contrived" and "horoscope" angle used had me wondering before Crow even had the chance to call her out.

Nah. If it was only that, then I wouldn't be directing this towards Haart at all, seeing as she hasn't done anything badly in my direction. It's generally good practice to err on the side of gauging people over taking them at face value instead of waiting for enough antagonism to occur to grant yourself a reason to. It makes it easier to assume that it's not just my feelings and impressions of the time once something causes me to stir, personally. I understand that I am an unreliable narrator, so I go the extra mile to study things about people before life gives me a reason to more seriously bother.

Lmao XD It's amazing how seriously they take this "forum mind games politics" stuff. Simple compliments turn into evil plotting to ... trick us into feeling liked or smth. That's one step away from taking over the world.
Everything is a form of manipulation. It doesn't hurt to keep an open eye as opposed to letting emotions and surface impressions be the guide solely.
What's worth wondering is why you're so combative about it being otherwise. Why couldn't this be more than it appears? Why couldn't this be reflecting something about her? What's wrong with analyzing and going about carrying an opinion that differs from your own face value interpretation of what's going on?

Flattering but also inaccurate to do. While we both have views on this matter, we aren't approaching this as a duo out for results, but as two users with our own respective opinions on the matter.
I don't think she's "full of shit" for the same reasons she does, in fact, I'd say my own findings are closer to finding her "suspicious".
From what I've learned about haart, my own "character assessment", I ended up liking and respecting her.
I can like/respect someone without assuming they're genuine. Do you see this as us going on the attack?

To assume she has some hidden agenda just makes you sound paranoid.
