This is not most contexts. I don't feel comfortable with pictures like this on the forum. One can be disregarded. Dozens of the same sort of thing cannot, for me.

I'm not psychoanalyzing Haarts comments about me specifically, nor am I interpreting it as a "massive insult". I'm making a point about who it is and where we are, and the fact that she just posted a huge list of blatant flattery. Would I be more sensible for taking it at face value?

Others likely would take it less at face value if it were another person from here doing it. Haart is just distant enough from this site's users that many people will follow it without asking what it's rooting from. It's an early enough impression that it isn't registering past the compliments.
The biggest shame about Haart leaving is that we now won't get past that bubble she's formed around herself. The most we saw of her insecurity was her need to prove a few details in older topics (shortly before editing the posts to not reveal too much).
