Well, I'm not making any friends with this, but someone has to say it......
Angee – Vindictive, dramatic, self-centered, oblivious, power-hungry, compulsive liar, with no forethought, who would do just about anything to get her attention fix and has made it abundantly clear that she is both willing to abuse power and prefers to bury anyone who damages her fragile ego. TK 2.0 for SC 2.0? : P
Tony – You guys realize he’d probably ban TC, right? XD
Tryptamine – Doesn’t give a single flying fuck about this forum. In fact, he’s expressed a disdain for it and desire to see it fall apart, numerous times. Seems stable enough when sober, but has had moments of severely flawed judgment from drinking and drugs, wherein he even did things like doxxing himself and then going back to edit out his own posts the following day. What’s to stop him from going on a drunken rampage of nihilistic bannings and deletions that cannot be undone? Nothing.
Systematic – Heart is in the right place, but he’s obviously made poor decisions in the past, based on personal bias and emotional whims. Good intentions, not reliable.
Myself – I’ve made it quite clear on numerous occasions that I am anti-moderation. If I were to be made mod, I wouldn’t do jack shit. CP might be the exception because I don’t want this forum to be shut down, but no one could count on me for anything like doxxes or spam. (In fact there have been times when I saw it and didn’t tell TC, just to keep it up longer. : P )
TK – Do we have to rehash this? Do we have the learning curve of a comatose lemming? She was mod. She’s not anymore. Ponder it, you dumb fucks.
Haart – Pathological liar, excellent at disguising motives. Probably one of the better choices, but still not remotely trustworthy.
Inquierer – Seems trustworthy enough and clearly cares about the forum, but he’s not online often enough to fill the gap left by TC. Still the best choice.
Now think, which if any of these people, do you want to have this power:
"As is, it's way too easy to delete entire chunks of this website with the mod tools.
They can obliterate all traces of a user on a whim. It could even potentially be done on accident.
Right now the mod tools allow for users to be banned, but unbanning isn't an option at all. A new mod might go on a ban spree and, after the fact, find him or herself unable to change it back.
Set it up so that mods can't target each other. I'm pretty sure I'm able to ban myself and delete every post I've ever made with only a few clicks, so I could see that being a potential problem if more than one user has access to those tools."
