Users have been posting pictures of naked children........ I'm pretty sure this site is more likely to be taken down by the authorities for things like that more so than things like our users committing murder. It's the biggest taboo of this society, and so steps must be taken to ensure that this stuff isn't posted here.
I think a 2nd mod would help ensure that a mod is online at all times so that things don't happen like today, where users left (or threatened to leave) because moderation wast occurring quickly enough.
Requirements of 2nd mod:
Online a lot
Has been a long time member
Has demonstrated themselves to be in-line with SC values
I don't hate them
Please feel free to make suggestions, and discuss
It's not time for a new mod. Wait and see, don't hurry up with the fucking censorship. Each mod has their own sensibilities, and they are bound to interfere with the natural state of this place.
If we were to have a new mod, I'd go with TK again. She was very good for months, before that hiccup that everyone exploited to chase her out.
