Experimentation is good. If TK is TK be re-added as mod, then we should also have a 3rd, new mod. Who knows how long this forum will exist - decades? If we let various ppl be mods we can get valuable experiences in what sort of ppl ought to be mods which can be used in the future. So sure, add TK back in. There might be times in the future when previous mods are made mods agains so might as well start building towards a precedent.

I think we're going to need more than 2 mods (or people with mod powers) if we're going to have them check every 30 minutes. Mods can always be removed from power. TC lives in the United States.

Choosing another mod is a big mistake, imo. Why are you people so eager to hand over your equality and endanger your freedom here? I can see how it's only a matter of time before doxes get deleted on sight and posts get deleted for being off topic... And a lot of wankery and arguments between the mods, and because of the mods...

How about this:

We can give several members mod powers.

New mods can only delete cporn.

Let Turncoat handle the spam etc.

Any new mod who deletes anything that's not cporn will have his/her mod powers taken away from him/her.

No second mod is needed. It's scary looking at the possibilities for popularity to overthrow practicality.

Or we are out to make sure that people who want to be in power don't get it and destroy our e-home. That is my goal. To defend and protect the e-home from people wanting to destroy it, ruin it, and control it. 

Anyone who actively wants to be mod should be crossed off the list. They obviously don't understand that good moderation for this site is just a cleaning job. They are after the powertrip/status already.
