Screaming in the head

That makes sense. I've might have kind of been neglecting sleep and food for a while now, and been anxious and stressed and so on. hm, I'll try relax more and sleep and eat better foods.

Fascinating. It happens only when I'm not getting regular, good sleep and the exploding head thing happened a TON when I was a kid.

Is a falling sensation as you drift to sleep (and jerking awake) also a parasomnia?

Are you already dreaming when it happens? I've talked to a couple people who say they have a falling dream as they start to sleep accompanied by that sensation, which wakes them. I don't remember ever dreaming with it, I feel gravity then tense awake.

Awful, lots of stress and anxiety, I wake up crying from time to time, and sometimes, but not as often, I wake up by own scream. How about yours?

Same, asleep but not quite.

How is your dreaming lately?

I have that falling thing too.

I heard it is because sleep is caring but yet clumsy, so sometimes it drops you when taking you to the dreams.

When I quit smoking, I had stress dreams (losing things, getting lost, running late, etc) and a couple gory dreams. It's better now or I'm back to not remembering them.

I've never woke up screaming/crying, that must suck. I agree you probably need to change your food and sleep habits if they're not as good as they could be. Have you tried meditation? It's been impossible for me so far but I've read it helps if done properly.

Do you think it'll get better if i pick up smoking? did you have less while you smoked? or did it justget worse when you stoped?

I have a lot of weird and odly detailed dreams, not sure if real or not when I wake up. I just know it didn't happen in this reality. They're often stress dreams like losing things, getting lot, not knowing where to be or running late etc, but also emotionally stressful dreams.

"I've never woke up screaming/crying, that must suck" yeah, it really sucks.

I did meitate för a while and kept a dream journal where I rewrote the dreams I had to solve them into something nice instead. It worked for a while to keep them in check. But I seem to have starting to spin out of control.

I kind of started to starve myself, foodwise. But I'm eating now and then, trying to make it into a habit to eat again. But. It's hard. Every little obstacle becomes an excuse.

that sounds kinda like night terrors, which i've been woken up by twice. the 2nd time i legit thought someone was on fire and had my duvet ready to throw on them. heard thumping footsteps running down the stairs screaming at the top of his lungs. fucking scary. often stems from sexual (and possibly physical?) abuse
