"It's the failure of the human race. It does not pertain to an entity, it encompasses all. It's also reliant on the way you allow the world to influence your views."
About the world influencing our views. If someone doesn't feel shame and doesn't care, then I can easily see that point of view. You always had a way of showing your psychopathy every now and then.
I'd still argue emotions to be tied to our level of intelligence. For example, higher level intelligence wouldn't cry over little things. It wouldn't only shame the intelligent to have hiss fits for petty reasons, but it would surely indicate a reverse in composure and would be detrimental to their earned status and reputation for productivity itself.
As a man of emotion, I look at such trashy girl actions and know it would do a lot more than humiliate me if I were anything like that. It would do damage beyond the intuitive emotions that alert me. Someone whose dumb go head first into things, so in the heat of the moment, "they allow" their emotions to lead them astray.
Actions really do reflect the intelligence.
