That's how long it takes for the drug to have the effect it was intended for. You can say it's doing nothing two weeks in, but chances are a psychiatrist will be aware you're trying to get amphetamines.

Psychiatrists are quite used to people coming in to get prescriptions for amphetamine and benzodiazepine abuse, so they typically monitor your behavior. Straterra is usually what they will put someone who presents ADHD symptoms, because there are so many people trying to get amphetamine scripts. It's really about timing.

The struggle to procure amphetamines is incredible in the US. I received a prescription for the lowest dosage available because I moved and the doctor didn't know me. It will take 2 months at least to get back to the dosage I was taking even though I have at least 5 years of taking them clearly shown in my files. 

I still can't pin down exactly what's wrong with Xena, mentally. It's clearly more than just Narc Delusions, and I never really had it confirmed or denied if it might be of a schizophrenic/schizotypal train. It'd be so nice to meet her in person to conduct some tests.
