Well I supose that's what it boils down to, whether you are man or sheep. I may be overly optimistic about the capacities of others. I truly believe that with the proper drive, strategies, and resources anyone can do or be anything.

I also believe the internet will be the great equalizer in the future for those with great educational and economic disparity.

Indeed those who once lacked the resources but have the potential and drive will get a fair shot. And those who had the resources but not the drive will fall into their proper place on the evolutionary chart on the bottom.

No, what those people need is a framework that shows them how to teach themselves instead of relying on others to do it for them. This accomplishes the same end while removing the dependency.

I could maybe understand your mindset say... 20 years ago. But now everything is digitized from GPS directions to books. The infrastructure is already in place, and the industry is already shifting heavily toward online education. The final step is replacing teachers with a repository of information. There will still be researchers to expand our body of knowledge but the role of the teacher is rapidly being replaced by technology.

Ignorance is no longer an excuse, you can know virtually anything you want. With a little self discipline and a plan.
