Are we to blame for that which we don't know of in advance?

No, quite the opposite, but mostly I'm posing that to follow up with "Then why do we need to know?".

Time will answer the question itself, and if it doesn't then it didn't matter that much more. Without an undoubtable point to jump from it's all guesswork in the dark.

Your mind can process billions of mathematical calculations (so I've heard) it's potential still remains untapped.

I do but I dismiss those thoughts quickly. There's no point in speculation if there will never be any answer. 

I am kinda with Turncoat on this one. To me, reality is just a fun thing to think about.

For example: What would your life be like if you were born without sight, smell, hearing, tactile sensation, or taste? This is of course, assuming it is even possible for an animal born such a way to survive birth. There would be no door for perception. It would be like you were never even alive, right?

But then what if you were born with only taste? What sort of life would you live, if you aren't euthanized? Perhaps they have caretakers that feed him, and he spends all day contemplating flavors. That's probably a totally useless thing to ponder, but thinking about it entertains me.

Creativity is a point that's potentially productive.
