That's about as much control as someone possesses over a candle's fire, save for the lack of bitching a candle does before being snuffed out.

Murder's closer to controlling someone's fear than their life, and even then that's only the case if the murderer's show-y. A murderer merely possesses life briefly and chooses to misuse it the same way a kid might enjoy toppling an assembled tower of toy blocks. For a word as powerful as "control" being referenced for controlling a life, it ought to mean more than just affecting the binary nature of it.

When another person's life is in your hands, you control whether they live or die. That's what it means to control life itself. It's like playing God.

You can't compare murder to simply snuffing out a candle when you consider how much impact it has. Not only are you ending someone's life entirely, you are destroying any future they may have had and affecting everyone close to them.

Isn't life in a significant part a pursuit of perfecting the murder of that which is capable of killing thyself?

Isn't soap a tool of mass murder?

Doesn't war bring peace?

Why would someone care about the balance that death impacts upon the living?

Perhaps I see things for what they are without the overt burden of emotion, but that doesn't mean I don't see the impact of what emotions are worth.

I doubt that you feel the same way that I do, but in the end you do think as every other person does, and that's what's even more important.

You and murderer make a good couple. I doubt you really understand what the other has to say, but you think that you do, and that's what's important :D
