I find it appalling and wrong that some members would dox other users here with malicious intent. I'm completely against it and all it stands for. How dare the dastardly dicks dox dumb doers of the domain. They should know better.

"Delete upon request" was the consensus and still is it looks like. That's a fine compromise and people should be grateful for even that.

It seems Luna anyway has decided to handle it as if it were pre-requested since they are unable to defend themselves. Whether that's fair or not is open for discussion.

There'd need to be a really good reason for anything to be deleted. Preferably nothing would ever be removed from this site, but that's unlikely. If they want to remove their paper trail, even Dex has shown himself to be smart enough to edit his own torrent of posts. What has Doxing being focused on is that the one targeted can't delete it on his or her own.

The forum could be reverted back to a former point as Luna has shown in the past. I wonder how much madness would occur before rebooting however.

i would suggest though, deleting only the identifying links and pictures (if the person requests it), as opposed to the whole post. We are still allowed to insult each other, after all.
also, to pick up on what Limey mentioned, it's maybe a bit off topic but I do think that if the mods (let's call a spade a spade) have the power to delete posts and mute accounts then users should have that right over their own posts and accounts too. I understand the argument that it provides a history to the place, but let's face it, nobody is going to be reading this shite in five years' time, and if they are then they need to get a life.
Agree with just the links being taken down. And I have to ask Luna for clarification, did TK personally request the deletion of your post or did she assume TK would want that, but wasn't here anymore to defend herself?
Neither posters nor admins can delete entire accounts and post history here, and that's fine by me. In the old Nabble days that was possible, and entire threads were left empty or not making any sense. Sometimes the info there was needed to make a point later on, but it wasn't available anymore.
