Yes, because you are clearly in a position to refute all the most cutting edge research in the field on the basis of your subjective speculations and opinions.~ Do you consider yourself a sociopath, Kage?
No confusion.
We're discussing if sociopaths are by default more logical than a typical mind. In terms of needs I used it as an example to point out, as I wrote " a more optimal degree of logic". Truth is rational explanation that governs logic especially for the proclaimed intelligent.
Between a sociopath and the typical their needs are the same, what is considered illogical is irrational reasoning which isn't the case. When laws are broken both sides are aware of that no matter how they feel, sociopaths lack empathy and no that doesn't mean they are more or less logical.
In this thread, so far you've done more for me, while doing the most damage in a single phrase than the rest combined. I admit admiration for mature honesty as opposed to off topic replies designed with the agenda to defame with false assumptions and fake illustrations of what's happening here.
by OpheliaGet with the fucking program. :P
Doesn't compute. :/
Aprrox. half of what I've read by Spatial Mind here & there makes good sense, and approx. the other half is utter gibberish.
(Which isn't a very bad proportion when compared to the general population.
So there, that was a compliment.)
There will come a time when we venture off to a different place. It could be a place where no one is there, or a place where there are locals with absolutely no empathy. It could be in this world, or another. For some, it'll be an opportunity to see why it's best to be where they'll be looked after, even if the traveler is only a taker, an empathic community is logical by design, choice and in general.
I can understand why one might think the ability to empathize may be a hindrance to obtaining a more optimal degree of logic, but when I think about it, knowing more by experience never deprived us from being logical, knowing more actually applies logic.
You are confusing logic and the application of of knowledge with need. They are not similar and neither is your fantastical explanation when compared to your prior posting.
Elegant and loquacious blatherings to cover up the the need does not blind anyone but the one that spews the lines of exquisite foggery that only the one that blows it believes .
Like practice.
I'm printing machine parts and using bearrings and brass pipes with nuts and bolts to complete my first prototype. When it's time you'll see it, and I mean when my patent is done.
If you're interested in the Makerbot 5th Generation, I'd advise against it. I bought one last July and already had to replace the smart extruder, which happens to be what people are freaking out about.
The smart extruder is designed in a way that Makerbot doesn't want us to open it to unclog filament jams, and opening it will void it's warranty. Then we're expected to purchase a new one.
I opened it anyway and used a blow torch to melt out the PLA then I made it worse my melting out the PTFE tubing inside the extruder throat.
I told Makerbot via e-mail what I've done, I also sent them a picture of the filament that was jammed reminding them how they know what this is. They sent me a new extruder and no problem since.
The original extruder I'll be taking to a machine shop to press fit some hard teflon to replace the tube I melted off so now when i get a clogged extruder, I'll just swap and repair the other.
About the printer, it has a large build volume and had no problem printing a 245mm part. At 15% infil it took 109 or so hours. Is it slow ? Yes, much slower than it's predecessor and so much more expensive. 2nd print took 76 hours. It's overpriced but one thing about this one is it has a higher success rate, and after printing well over 20 parts on it, I still never had to change the tape on the build plate. The last update improved the 100 micron print quality.
Over all I like this printer even though makerbot is really pulling an apple with this product, cause it only works with priority software, and cannot utilize any other software slicer. Because it's a single extruder, I'm satisfied with it.
I'm in the process of rescaling the prototype and modifying other areas to make it more compact, not at this very moment cause I'm at work. The revised design is not as beautiful as the Mark 1 version as i like to call it, but it's more practical and won't take forever to complete.
The best desktop 3D printer is unknown, but I recommend getting one with a dual extruder and using replicaorG software to slice your models. The 2nd extruder is good for building supports and when you use a water soluble PVA material with it, it eliminates the need to mickey mouse the object by sanding or scraping, just rinse and it's clean.
Fun and games. How are your studies ?
