Sociopath Community

Any intelligent sentient being is able to emulate. It's sort of a direct code in our species to manipulate using emotion to gain what we want. Sociopaths seem to not need empathy and instead of turning it off or on, they use it to progress in the situation to their benefits.

Very well put. That is one of the things that seem "off" to me.

When push comes to shove, they shove.

I read several articles which state that the latest research indicates that sociopaths are capable of empathy, but have a much easier time "switching it off" than neurotypical individuals.

Random Thoughts:

• I feel that the human mind best operates in a independent environment. We are at complete control over our minds with no outside limiting factors.
• The fact that sociopaths have lost the concept of empathy and emotion elevates them to a higher level  of logical thinking that precedes empathy able life forms.  
• As a coping method normal people shed emotion and behave similar to sociopaths in emotionally damaging situations. 
• I've noticed that through faking emotion you can fool most people but on a intimate level a normal person will not feel a connection due to the sociopath not being able to transmit one.

 #1. Human mind in an independent enviro? Such as..? A sense deprivation chamber and then what? Think oneself into oblivion? Or drive yourself insane. Reads delusional to me. 

#2. That would be more context specific. Unless you've lobotomized yourself stating zero emotions is silly.

#3. The may be due to "warrior genes". Unknown. Doesn't require emotional shut down to do to extreme things, in fact more often than not the opposite. 

#4. Faking emotion? Why bother? You can laugh at something funny, is that an emotion or are you depressed and require slapping on a happy face?
