I never said I did altruistic acts for the reasons of avoiding guilt and such, I was talking about the general population.

Don't go into denial on me!! No one is as good as you'd like to think.

I haven't flash edited anything. So much assuming, is great man.

That one isn't based on personal experience, that's based on psychology, on facts, on mapping the mind and observing.

Again, I never made ultimatums or generalisations, I said a lot of people with empathy, and psychopaths CAN feel love. Am I going to have to repeat that again? Because the amount of repetition is making me feel drunk now >.>

Thank goodness you didn't flash edit this one.

It's quite simple, really. People do seemingly selfless acts to make themselves feel better about themselves, to avoid guilt, to boost reputation. It's something psychology studied quite well.

It sounds like you do, though, by how you make universal ultimatums based on "personal experience".

Wasn't going back to that point, was merely saying to Hayasa that I wasn't generalising, which he/she seems to be unable to grasp.

Oh boy.

"Does love exist"

"What is love"

"There's no such thing as an altruistic act"

"How do you know 'normal' people can"

"How do you know psychopaths can't"

And, again, subjective personal experience.

SRSLY?

That's why I don't feel like getting into another discussion about motherlove right now. I'm too busy caring for my kid to spend time talking at somebody who doesn't get it.

Feelerz are neurotypicals with the standard range of emotion. I believe they make up over 70% of the population. Non-feelerz are people who experience flattened emotions: aspies, 'paths, SPDs and NPDs. Some types of psychosis will also flatten the sufferers' moods, but psychotic people's emotional range is not consistent and is usually plagued by hallucinations.

Mood disordered people have more intense emotions than neurotypicals. BPDs appear to alternate, but I can't stand to be around those people long enough to study them. They usually end up pissing me off, so I try to politely avoid them if I run into one.

So is the fact that psychopaths can't form emotional attachment. Therefore, the possibility of actually having strong affection toward someone is greatly diminished.

Here we are, back at square one again... with you claiming that psychopaths can feel love.

How do you know they can?

You care for your child because of chemicals, because of instincts. To deny that is pointless.

Ah, fair enough, now that I know what you man when you say that, I can respond to half the shit you said properly.
