Kids don't know any better and people tend to understand that in advance.
It's even the premise of one of Cosby's shows.
stories are interesting and so could be kids.
however having a kid come to you irl and talk to you, demand attention, etc, is annoying. Because they are incomplete humans and you cant be rude to them, you cant tell them to fuck off, you cant hit them. They might die or something. Well you can, but then people look at you badly. And they frustrate me with their stupid questions and demand for attention.
"And they frustrate me with their stupid questions and demand for attention."
I love the questions. Sometimes they end up more profound than they understand.
Otherwise I find kids endearing in the same way I like animals, but a notch above from carrying the possibility of becoming an adult, reflecting their childhood experiences in a variety of possible ways. They're building blocks at that point, capable of becoming an elaborated result of the things they pick up when they understand so little.
