A Healthy Diet

I eat a diet based on carbs. I eat quite a bit of bread, pasta, potatoes and oatmeal. Then I add veggies, fresh if I can. I also eat lentils and beans. I eat dairy like yogurt and milk. I use a few eggs a week. I eat some meat and some fish. I drink black and herbal teas.

One dish I like for a cold fall day is beetroot soup which is made from fresh peeled and chopped beetroots, carrots and potatoes cooked in broth, after done you round off with some smetana or similar.

My breakfasts are almost always bread and tea, or oatmeal.

For meats I sometime eat offal, but mostly I buy minced meat since it is both rather fresh and cheap.

I do not eat sugary foods, much snacks, much takeout and very little ready made food from the store.

I don't rate this as healthy or unhealthy. It is somewhere in the middle.

What? Didn't you say you like to get stuffed? I know you like a big greasy sausage at least twice a day.

What? 2 glasses of milk, 6 ounces of meat, a fuckton of 0 calorie fruits and vegetables, and 2 slices of bread every day makes you fat?

You poor thing. Your metabolism must be worse than mine.

"Burpees are good, they work your core, they give you a nice ass"

Burpees work mostly on cardio, not abs. As far as ass goes I've never had my legs or anything below my waist sore after doing them(I've done quite a few). If anything you'll get a small chest workout from the pushup you do every repetition.

If I ate as much as that chart recommends I'd be a fattie. I won't follow specific diets as there are foods I am not willing to give up, like chocolate. But I am a shameless foodie. I very rarely eat anything processed. I love to cook and bake, so most of what I consume is home-made and consists of wholesome ingredients.

As it is, I have to eat like a toddler to remain svelte. I also lift weights. As of now I can do 150 bicep curls with a ten pound weight, without resting. Not bad for a chick.

All that said, I have no qualms with occasionally skipping a meal to make room for beer. :D

I know some people who feel that way about milk. I enjoy it, tho.

I said I don't eat the 7-8 servings of bread they suggest. I said I eat 2-3 servings when I'm dieting.

I might eat 4 or 5 when I'm not dieting, if I'm having a really fat hungry day. It's physically impossible for me to eat that much bread right now. Yuck. I get a bellyache when I eat too much starch. I don't think I've ever had 7 servings of starch in a day.

"I'm curious what foods you would consider as part of a healthy diet for breakfast, lunch and dinner".

Breakfast: fruit with low fat yogurth and cereal or a small sandwich (made with low fat cheese and jam) + tangerine/orange juice.

Lunch: protein (fish, red meat, chicken or etc) with salad and a fruit.

Dinner: a cup of green tea with a slice of low fat cheese.

If you know of any healthy recipes, I'd appreciate them too.

I used to eat a lot of things made with pita bread, because it's extremely healthy.

"Do you also follow a particular exercise routine on a daily or weekly basis? If so, what is it?"

I'm becoming too lazy to work out, but I used to run for 1 hour and do some routines with medicine balls.

Edit: Drinking at least 8 glasses of water is essential as well.
