It has been proven that a very low amount of caffeine can be sedating. So maybe try a cup of green tea before bed? I know it doesn't work with me but I know people it does work for. Plus green tea is the new thing that is going to save us all.
green tea also has theanine in it (though minimal amounts). i'm really familiar with theanine, took some last night before bed. that combined with later rit dosing, late night ~hour long exercising, and pigging a spot of pasta resulted in good sleep. all of that being entirely circumstantial, even if the theanine was a deliberate sleep aid choice. won't keep up with the theanine, nearly out and the cheapest sitting at 14cents per capsule is non to thrilling a price, jmo...
though wouldn't mind a matcha roll with ze nightcap!
i drink tea instead of water, so steady streaming in and out all the day long. also, while on the rit i either drink a fair deal of coffee or pop a few caffeiners. works in tandem with the rit to keep me up and on, instead of down and out. but, from my experience, caffeine on it's own has little effect on my sleep in either the help or harm way.
phenibut expensive...you've said enough. rather dish out the dollars for something more enjoyable to have each night.
