Cheating

Have you ever cheated on a SO/spouse or been in a relationship with someone who was married? Would you cheat?

Have you ever cheated with a friends  SO/spouse? What was the end result?

What are your reasons for 'cheating' and how do you actually feel about it?

Is it purely sexual or does it fill some other need?

Is it possible for humans to be in a monogamous relationship?

I was fuck buddy with someone who was engaged to be married, but that's the closest thing to it. And that was a friend's girl. Hypothetically if it was impossible to get a divorce then yes, I would cheat.

I avoid relationships so I can't cheat. I think it's silly though, you should dump the person you're with before jumping into bed with someone else.

If the person is drunk then it's likely to be an impulsive sexual thing. If sober then it's probably a thrill thing, alternatively too afraid to break up with the person he's/she's with.

Is it possible for humans to be in a monogamous relationship?

Completely, but not because of love. Rather because of loyalty or safety.

Have you ever cheated on a SO/spouse or been in a relationship with someone that was married? Yes, many times. I've never really had 'girlfriends', so when I cheated it was generally with someone who was already taken.

Would you cheat? Obviously I have, so the general consensus is probably that I would again. But, at this time in my life I'd have to say no. At least I wouldn't cheat on my 'SO', but that's not to say that my 'SO' isn't already 'attached'.

Have you ever cheated with a friends SO? Yes, once when I was about 17 or 18. My friend didn't find out until much later, but suffice it to say that our friendship didn't last after that.

What are your reasons for 'cheating' and how do you actually feel about it? When I was younger, it was the thrill of being with a married/attached woman.

Is it purely sexual or does it fill some other need? I wouldn't say that it is purely sexual, but what need it feels I'm not sure. Thrill of the chase, forbidden fruit...who knows?

Is it possible for humans to be in a monogamous relationship? It's ingrained in males to spread their seed as widely as possible. That being said, yes I think it is possible if you meet someone who you can connect with on a deeper level.

Yes I have cheated on the few I was in a actual relationship with.

i slept with a friends girl, just to piss him off.. End result was he got pissed off.

no reason for cheating really except boredom.

No, but I don't do relationships.  It really only took one good try at it, to realize that commitment and monogamy are not my cup of tea.

Would you cheat?

No.  If I was in a monogamous relationship and wanted to fuck someone else, I'd get out of that relationship, then I'd fuck them.  It seems the sensible order in which to do things.

Have you ever cheated with a friends  SO/spouse?

Nope.

What are your reasons for 'cheating' and how do you actually feel about it?

Well from the perspective of someone who doesn't, I have nothing against people who cheat, I just don't see the point.  Why pretend to be monogamous?

Is it purely sexual or does it fill some other need?

I'm sure it fills other emotional needs.  A cheater will still cheat, even if they're with someone who gives them all the sex they want.

Is it possible for humans to be in a monogamous relationship?

pft  Of course it's possible.

None of my ex-boyfriends ever cheated on me, as far as I'm aware. I did cheat on one of them though.

No, but I've had sex with guys who were engaged to be married and married men. I didn't know their fiances or wives though.

What are your reasons for 'cheating' and how do you actually feel about it?

I just wanted sex. I didn't feel anything about it back then and I don't feel anything about it now.

Is it purely sexual or does it fill some other need?

Yes, lust.

I have no idea. I think most people cheat on their partners at some point.

Yes, I would and do cheat. I've never been faithful to a partner, EVER in my life once I was out of my teens.  Yes I have also been in a relationship with married men. Married or not is irrelevant. I have always used sex to get what I want and that can take on many different forms.

Have you ever cheated with a friends SO/spouse? What was the end result?

No, I have never. I myself am not sure why but I never crossed this line  to date.  In all candor, if the opportunity arose with all the right ingredients coming together, I'm sure I would. I no longer care if it's with a friends SO/spouse or stranger.  I don't feel the same about it today as I did 10 years ago.

What are your reasons for 'cheating' and how do you actually feel about it?

I cheat for numerous reasons. For manipulation purposes, in order to get what I want.  Sometimes it can be simply b/c I am attracted to someone and want to get fucked by them. In years past I needed it for emotional reasons, to feel loved by someone. I equated sex and love as the same thing.  I am married, I don't care about his feelings. I currently am in a situation where I do care about someone, I am in a relationship outside of my marriage and I have no 2nd thoughts about it.

Is it purely sexual or does it fill some other need?  See above

Is it possible for humans to be in a monogamous relationship?

No, I don't believe it is. I think it's very easy and naive for younger people to believe it's possible.  I don't believe humans are designed to be sexually attracted to one person their entire lives.

All the above being said, sex is only when I want it, on my terms.  Otherwise, I don't want to be touched and have no interest in it.
