 This, is possibly the best answer I've seen the whole thread. Well done. 

I'd honestly just leave the scene as fast as I could. I don't fancy having to talk to cops or deal with the media for being a witness.

That and their lives are not my responsibility. If I were never there, the same outcome would have happened.
