Are there rules on this site or no?

Really?? Is there anyone who wants to keep this place civil? I sure don't.

If you want civil, then stick to PF or MHG.

the spamming rule was ambiguously decided on, thats fine. but no one set and definite ways to decide what is considered spam, so everything you consider spam can be deleted.

Spam is whatever useless bullshit that is over-running the forum at the time by one user. For example, if josh posted that Quality Time video on numerous threads one after the other, I would consider that spam.

the personal information used to be removed after a request and only the post and it was never forbidden. why is it forbidden now?

Is there any specific reason it suddenly become forbidden?

A better question is, why shouldn't it be forbidden?

Posting people's personal information without their specific permission is a violation of their privacy. The reason so many people are paranoid on this site is specifically because they don't want their personal information exposed.

i agree those threads are spam. however what if you deleted those test threads, no one else complained about them. while the josh shit - a lot of people didnt like it.

if you feel violated, sue them.

this is just some comfort rule that has no basis other then comfort. people who want to expose you will do it anyway.

Actually, posting them without a reason could be distasteful.

Maybe that's what triggered the response. Pretty much a random thing to do from Ramirez' part.

Maybe there could be a "report post" function to make it easier to spot these kinds of posts.

If someone spammed a bunch of test threads and no-one complained, I wouldn't delete them, but let's be realistic now. I hardly think no-one would complain about it.

I think a report post function is a great idea.

you can get as realistic as you want, i dont care, as long as you delete them only if the majority agrees.
