Selling forged items openly could get you into a lot of trouble, especially if they are discovered to be forgeries. Personally, I think only an idiot would sell them openly on ebay. That's why we have the deep web and the black market.

Of course, but my point was, forgerers can and do still get caught. Why run the risk of using ebay when you can access the black market, especially considering the black market provides greater anonymity.
