Speaking of waxing poetic, it's a bit tedious to hear all these romantic notions of an "internet fight club" as though it's some sacred Eden. If Luna wants to IP ban someone for using exploits to crash the site, that's a bit different from moderating posts. I mean, for all you want to be known for verbally eviscerating someone, you can't actually retaliate by calling someone a "pansy ass" if they crashed the site and there's nowhere to write it.
I'm often too lazy to actively yell at idiots, and idiots filter it into their 'all attention is good' mindset anyway so it's not like it does much but feed them. The blacklist is effective...for making sure you only see half of a conversation with them instead of the full thing. I sympathize with the fact that you enjoy the verbal sparring, so you can go right ahead and call me a weak, stupid, sensitive pansy ass.

No, with this I agree. If you crash the place, I can understand why someone might think your pansy ass should get banned. But I resent the resulting clamour for increased moderation, and will bitch about it all I please, as it conflicts with how I like this place- particularly since my accounts were not banned for hacking anything. :P

The blacklist is fine if someone is sufficiently annoyed by a troll to want to ignore them altogether. Otherwise, one might as well shut up and enjoy the show, or skip the thread altogether. Besides, when did you see any part of a conversation featuring Almightyturd that was remotely worth reading? Lol.
