it makes you feel invalidated?
by TheLeviathanI was recently told that the term "nigga" was "...unacceptable, even in jest."
The term "unacceptable" makes me want to force people to hear whatever I have to say, until they get so annoyed or pissed off, that they have to "accept" it.
The person used "Mr. [Insert first name]" in every comment regarded at another user on the Facebook status, including me. They then left with "Sorry gentlemen I am through with this conversation." when I threatened to get more vulgar.
Needless to say, I "liked" her exiting reply. Moral-policing is a tell-tale sign of total degeneracy.
Apparently this person was respected. I can't even imagine how some stuck-up cunt could possibly be respected.
Personally, I don't use the word "nigger" or "nigga" at all because I find it distasteful. I find the indignation of white people who are told that they can't use it to be most amusing - who wants to lay claim to a single word when you can weave together entire sentences to destroy the egos of your enemies?
I am down with your views on the word "unacceptable," however. Whenever someone says "the 'N' word," they force their listener to imagine the word "nigger." Thus, they hand responsibility for their usage of that word over to their listeners. Why don't they just SAY the word? I believe that Louis CK did a good skit on it awhile ago.
As for your presumptuous Facebook friend (ex-friend?), I'm not actually shocked that she's respected. People will respect anyone they deem to be strong. I get told regularly that I'm an "inspiration to society" because people don't realize that I'm a career criminal. People just love a good underdog story. They'll overlook the most hideous offenses if you've been accepted into medical school despite your upbringing (I was probably accepted into medical school in large part BECAUSE of my upbringing, not despite it). Your ex-friend has probably got some sob story that she reiterates frequently to demonstrate how fucking awesome she is for escaping the drudgery of a plebeian upbringing and making herself look so patrician.
by ReaperOkay, I have something to add to this thread. It's not really a rant though. It's more of a curious question.
I've noticed that the three people some of you on this forum have issue with the most is Edvard, TheSocio and myself. So, in order to clear the air, I ask you, what are your issues with us?
State them clearly and explain how you think those issues could be resolved, assuming you wish to resolve them. If you don't, well, there's not much point in complaining about it, is there.
I see what you did there.
Because you've done it before. Several times before, in fact.
Why are you so desperate to know why people hate you? This could potentially damage your internet reputation as a "badass" (quotes inserted for The Sugar Girl's benefit, as she's not too good with sarcasm). This time, rather than isolating your precious self for criticism, you've attempted to drag Edvard and TheSocio into it. I doubt that either of them care about being hated as much as you do.
Reaper, you actually seem to crave being hated. Why is that?

I'm not sure where you got the impression I'm desperate. It was merely a question of curiosity.
I just don't really understand why some people here have an issue with me and you can't tell me they don't, because they've made it very clear they do. Their issues with me have carried on for years over multiple forums.

You do realize that I don't actually consider myself a badass, right?
I just am what I am. As superficial as I may appear to be in some ways, I'm genuine for the most part.

I don't care if I'm hated or not. I'm not asking anyone to change their opinion of me. I'm just trying to understand where they're coming from regarding their dislike towards me.
As for edvard and socio, that was just a curiosity thing as well. I was also hoping to stir up some trouble there.
Reaper, you actually seem to crave being hated. Why is that?
I don't crave being hated at all and I'm really not sure what gave you that impression.
